I would like to purchase an AraldFX product. How does the ordering process work?
Within 24 hours from the purchase of the product we will let you download the software by logging in to your AraldFX account. You will receive an email generated from our sales system with detailed instructions.
To speed up the orders processing consider registering your own AraldFX account before purchasing any of our products. If you don't have an AraldFX account we will create one for you.

How does the download system work?
When you purchase a product you will be granted five downloads for it.
We have to set a limit for the download numbers to discourage sharing of the ArladFX accounts. Your download never expires.
You can request more downloads, free of charge, simply by writing to us.

How can I transfer a product license?
To transfer a product license, the product owner should contact us and specify his AraldFX account name, and send the following information about the person/entity who received the license:

• email address
• First name (or business name)
• AraldFX user account (if possible)

License transfers are free of charge, but they may take up to two days to process.

Your plug-in does not work with my host. What can I do?
Because of the huge number of hosts (and versions of each) available we cannot test our plug-in with every existing host. We would appreciate reports of compatibility problems you may find. Please provide as many information as possible, such as:

• Your Operating System type and version
• The exact version of the host you are using
• Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
• The buffer size of your audio drivers (in samples, especially for problems with VST plug-ins; AU is less subject to buffer size issues)
• The number and type of CPUs installed on your system

I can't hear Grand Electrix playing anymore. What can I do?
Perhaps you moved the soundset data folder or the registry/preferences entry got corrupted.
Hold down the shift key when you load the plug-in in your host and browse for the soundset directory.

What are the known issues?
The DFD engine has to be improved: we are currently testing our new DFD engine.
There is a known bug when you hold down the sustain pedal: if you play a loud note, then the same note very softly the loud sound is truncated.
We have corrected these issues and improved the product, we will release the new update on April 2007.

Is DKS compatible with OSX 10.3.9?
The current version (1.0c) is only compatible with OSX 10.4. We are working for 10.3.9 compatibility.

How do I route a sound?
The DKS mixer works like a conventional studio mixer, with pre and post-fader sends.

For example, to send a sound to the AUX1 bus only you have to:

• Set the sound volume (in the mixer) to zero
• Set the SEND1 mode to PRE fader (press the PRE button) in the channel
• Set up the SEND1 volume properly

At this point the sound will only go to the AUX1 bus.

Why you can't just select the output?
This choice is by design.
We need this kind of advanced routing because we can set-up sub-mixes for reverberation and/or parallel compression without using too many mixer strips in the host.

The AUX1 and AUX2 outputs do not seem to work at all, why?
Make sure you turn off the "Stereo Merge" switch.
Does the AU version support multiple outputs?
Yes, starting from the DKS version 1.0d, which will be available shortly.
Before you switch to version 1.0d make sure you save the DKS synthesizer settings in each song you have, because some hosts may refuse to load a multiple output version of the instrument in place of the stereo version.
If this should happen, just re-open DKS in your song, then load the previously saved settings.

Which features will be added to DKS?
The DKS code base will be enhanced to develop a new and better product soon, while maintaining backward compatibility and competitive pricing (or free updates) to all of the DKS users.
